Kate Nash Made Of Brick

Twenty year old kate Nash is the latest singing British sensation to hit the scene. The harrow born Londoner had high hopes of attending stage school at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School but was rejected. In the days after her rejection she fell down a flight of stairs, breaking her foot. To cheer herself up, she started to write some songs while bedridden. This was the making of the assume artist that we now know as Kate Nash. Foundation was the first single to be released from her Partnership with Fiction Records released on 25 June 2007 the single peaked at number 2 in the official UK singles chart, despite being ignored by commercial radio. Made of Brick is an incredibly versatile album that will keep you hocked.

Skeleton Song is an incredible single, Kate Nash sings about a beloved friend who just happens to be a skeleton it’s a hilarious and weird song, but you’ll find yourself loving it. Overall the album is amazing and one you should defiantly get if you are into Alternative / Indie / Folk music.
