The Smashing Pumpkins perfomed their first concert in six years on Tuesday, the band launched their world tour by playing for 2,200 fans at Paris Grand Rex Theater. Original members Ginger Reyes, Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin were joined by guitarist Jeff Schroeder. This confirmed Chicago Tribune report that suggested the indie musicians would be joining the band’s reunion. The group performed classic songs as well as new material from their new album Zeitgeist, which will be out on July 10.
