Loads of fans get their stuffed nicked at the band’s gig last night but then get a rather nice surprise…

Bloc Party fans who turned up to see the band play in Reading last night (February 5) got more than they bargained for.
Not only did a stream of them get their mobile phones nicked by a prolific pick pocket, but they also got invited to an exclusive booze-up with the band as a result.
About 30 fans complained to the venue’s security staff after noticing their phones had gone missing, and after the police turned up the culprit was found - one man, in a wig, in possession of loads of mobies.
The dodgy barnetted one-man (illegal) Carphone Warehouse was promptly arrested, but the fans who’d been asked to stay behind, were invited to join the band celebrate their new album ‘A Weekend In The City’ topping the midweek album charts. Nice.
